Tare, Weigh
(two speed feed), Print, Clear Tare, Hold, Discharge, Hold, Reset.
Two speed
feed may be Parallel Fast / Slow, or Sequential Fast / Slow.
Two speed
feed may be disabled (single speed feed).
Automatic
Tare may be disabled.
Automatic
Print may be disabled.

Automatic
Batching Cycle:
|
|
| |
- Place
MANUAL / OFF / AUTO selector in the AUTO position.
- Toggle
DISCHARGE / FEED Switch to: FEED.
- The system
will automatically TARE to Net Weight Zero, and FAST FEED will begin
IF starting from a previous Discharge Cycle Complete OR from a previous
mid-cycle STOP.
- When the
batch weight increases to a preselected weight set-point, FAST FEED
will stop and SLOW FEED will begin.
- When the
batch weight increases to a preselected final cutoff point, SLOW FEED
will stop, ending the batch filling cycle.
NOTE:
If optional multi-ingredient sequences are utilized, the FAST FEED
/ SLOW FEED for the second ingredient will now begin from Step 2.
Upon the completion of the second ingredient's batch fill, the third
ingredient will repeat the sequence, etc..
- Upon completion
of the filling cycle, the batch weight will automatically transmit to
a printer, and be stored in internal memory for later retrieval as a
production summary and material usage report.
NOTE: If optional multi-ingredient sequences are utilized, EACH ingredient's
batch weight will transmit, along with the accumulated batch weigt .
The internal memory will store the accumulated weight of each ingredient
and the accumulated weight of all the batches.
- The system
will Clear Tare to display the final batch weight; and HOLD, awaiting
a Discharge command.
- Toggle
DISCHARGE / FEED switch to: DISCHARGE
- The Discharge
cycle will begin, and continue until the weight falls below a preselected
Zero Tolerance value.
- Upon completion
of Discharge, the system will HOLD and RESET to begin a new cycle beginning
with Step 1.

Push
STOP at any time to immediately STOP the automatic sequence. The process
may be resumed from where it left off, or aborted. The DISCHARGE and FEED
cycles are interlocked to prevent an accidental cycle start of one before
the other has completed.

Manual
Override Operation:
|
|
| |
- Place
the MANUAL / OFF / AUTO selector in the MANUAL position.
A. For
manual FEED:
- Place
the FEEDER SELECT switch in the desired position to control a particular
material feeder.
- Manually
hold the DISCHARGE / FEED toggle in the FEED position.
- The
selected feeder will run for as long as the FEED toggle is held.
B. For
manual DISCHARGE:
- Manually
hold the DISCHARGE / FEED toggle in the DISCHARGE position
- DISCHARGE
will continue for as long as the DISCHARGE toggle is held.
(NOTE: Manual
override functions are also an excellent method for testing proper operation
of related gates, valves, motors, etc., without running actual product
through the system.)
