two scale filling system where continuous flow of material is required.
This particular example is suited to applications such as mayonnaise, where
product feed must remain constant, without stopping. Additional possibilities
include grease, butter / margarine, grated cheese, fruit and vegetable slurry,
Generally, any product with feed drive from a positive displacement pump,
or products that stick or congeal if flow is stopped. Other uses include
almost any filling application where high units-per-minute throughput is
desired. Concept: maintain constant flow of product supply, and control
one driver valve to flip-flop feed from one scale to the other. |
