AUTOMATIC FLIP-FLOP TWO SCALE SYSTEM
EXPRESS SYSTEM 302 SEQUENCE OF OPERATION

Weigh (single speed feed), Flip (or Flop), Reset

1. Place an empty container on both scale and keypads enter Tare, if desired.
   
   
2. Switch the ON/OFF to the ON position.
   
   a. When switched to ON, the feed pump or drive is enabled, and stays enabled until switched to OFF.
   
   b. The Feed Driver (or valve) will immediately latch to Scale A, and Fill will commence on Scale A.
   
   c. Fill will continue until preselected target weights are achieved.
   
   d. When fill stops, the control logic will immediately "Flip" the Feed Diverter (or valve) latch to Scale B, thereafter repeating step 2.c.
   
   
3. Remove the full container from Scale A, and replace it with a new empty container
   
   a. This must be performed before Scale B completes it's fill.
   
   
4. When Scale B completes it's Fill, the control logic will immediately "Flop" the Feed Diverter (or valve) back to Scale A, again, completing one Flip-Flop sequence.
   
   
5. Remove the full container from Scale B, and replace it with a new empty container.
   
   a. This must be done before Scale A completes it's fill.
   
   
6. The system will continue to Flip-Flop fill between Scales A & B indefinitely, or until the ON/OFF switch is turned OFF.
   
   This particular system require that the feed continue, no-matter-what. The only way to stop the feed is turn the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. Similar application may be engineered to incorporate interlocks or controls to automatically turn off the feed if a new empty container is not in place. Likewise, an alarm could sound, or a product flow return loop could be energized.
