two scale filling systems where continuous flow of material is required.
This particular example is suited to applications where fast rate of fill
and fine accuracy requirements dictate a two speed feed. Although the specifics
of this system are developed for ice cream, similar applications include
grease, butter / margarine, fruit and vegetable slurry, generally, any product
with feed drive from a positive displacement pump, or products that stick
or congeal if flow is stopped. Concept: Maintain constant flow of product
supply through a two valve feed manifold, one valve for each scale. |
