There are thousands of different applications for In-Motion weighing. This series of DWM-IV instrumentation is highly specialized to address techniques for weighing packages, parcels, containers, etc.; In-Motion. For this purpose, the versatile DWM-IV incorporates very advanced electronics to refine 60 analog to digital conversions per second. This high speed conversion is coupled with a powerful weight averaging process that allows repeatable and accurate weight capture, or checkweigh zone classifications.

For a complete engineered In-Motion system, mate one of these DWM-IV units with any of the EXPRESS-SYSTEMS, 600 Series dynamic weighing scale structures. Whether the application dictates In-Motion weighing via special purpose slider-bed conveyors, gravity feed conveyors, static dwell powered conveyors, cascade drop-slide scales with rejecter assemblies, lateral transfer assemblies, or other dynamic weighing structures, these DWM-IV instrumentation / controllers are the core component for performance.

System #603 is a very powerful, full functioned, industrial in-motion Checkweigh Controller. Use this unit for Under / OK / Over checkweigh determinations while products pass in-motion across a scale structure. Checkweigh processes can be infinite in description, and might include boxes, bags, bins, barrels, buckets, parcels, packets, polyfoam containers, etc..

System #603 is very easy to set up for production runs. Target weights for each Zone are simply entered on the front panel numeric keypad. As each product completes it's pass across the scale, one of the three front panel indicator lights (Under, OK, Over, OK Under, OK Over) will exhibit the product weight classification.

Reject Control
is a standard feature. Reject may be selected to include Under weights only, Over weights only, or both Under and Over weights. A reject condition is detected instantly upon weight classification. The 120Vac reject output is front panel keypad adjusted for Time Delayed Reject, and a Reject On Dwell Time. (One reject output is provided with the basic Checkweigh Controller. Reject output for additional discrete Zones are optionally available.)

Data Recording is provided in print output format via 20ma serial ASCII. (RS-232 or RS-422 are optional.) Each weighment is transmitted, formatted with Consecutive Number, Weight, and Zone Classification. Accumulated Subtotals are available On Demand. Similarly, a final Totals report is available On Demand which represents ALL accumulations, then clears the memory register upon transmission complete.
